ONLINE ONLY sales are defined as vehicles purchased 100% online, without having had a test drive prior to purchase, and without having visited the dealership in-person to complete the purchase. This ONLINE sales policy applies ONLY to those vehicles purchased sight unseen, completely online.

Exchange / Refund Criteria

You can request a refund/exchange if the following criteria has been fully satisfied:
  • You must notify us, in writing (email), of your intent to cancel your purchase within 3 days, or 250 kms, whichever comes first, no later than 5pm EST on the 3rd day from the date of delivery.
  • The vehicle must be in the purchaser’s name as per the paperwork executed prior to delivery. The ownership cannot have been transferred to another person.
  • The vehicle cannot have had any liens or encumbrances registered against it.
  • The vehicle must be in the same condition as it was when delivered to you, without any new damage, excessive wear and tear, or modifications.
  • If the vehicle has been in an accident, vandalized, or seriously damaged after your delivery, it is no longer eligible for a refund or exchange.
  • We will issue your refund payment as soon as the vehicle passes our inspection.
  • The delivery fee (only charged to those residing more than 100 kms from our dealership) is non-refundable.
  • All the statements above also apply to exchanges. When returning a vehicle for exchange, you must select the replacement vehicle from our inventory.
  • The replacement vehicle chosen for an exchange must be in-stock, available for purchase, and fits your approval criteria, where applicable.
  • The replacement vehicle when making an exchange, will not qualify for the Money Back Guarantee.
  • Any price difference, when making an exchange, will either be refunded or charged to you, where applicable.

Legacy Auto Credit contactless delivery procedure

We will deliver your vehicle to your home for free if you reside within 100 kms of our dealership.  For deliveries outside of this boundary, a non-refundable delivery fee (calculated based on your exact location) is added to the vehicle purchase contract.  Our delivery preparation service includes complete sanitization of the vehicle’s interior and keys to help prevent the spread of any viral or bacterial infections.
